What is chargeable weight?
The weight your shipment is actually priced on — the greater of its real (actual) weight and its volumetric weight. Light, bulky cargo is billed on volume; dense cargo on actual weight.
Which volumetric divisor should I use?
Standard air freight uses 6000 (cm³ per kg), express couriers often 5000, and road freight commonly 3000. The lower the divisor, the more bulky cargo is penalised.
